Artist's Statement
Born and raised in Fresno, CA. I didn't become interested in painting until the late '80's when, while living in Santa Monica, CA. I decided to take a few art classes at the community college. I then painted on my own for a few years, learning as I went. Now living in Oregon I am able to paint full time. Painting is like a meditation, totally absorbing and relaxing. I feel truly blessed to be able to do what I love. I am inspired by all the wonderful art that is out there and am always amazed at how many gifted artists there are in the world.
